National Information Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities
NICHCY is the national information and referral center that provides information on disabilities and disability-related issues for families, educators, and other professionals.

Federal Resource Center for Special Education
Maintained by the Academy of Educational Development, this site represents a joint effort by multiple federal organizations to compile all special education resources through one portal.

American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
This site is designed to serve both AACAP Members, and Parents and Families. Information is provided as a public service to aid in the understanding and treatment of the developmental, behavioral, and mental disorders

American Academy of Pediatrics
The American Academy of Pediatrics provides pediatricians and their parents with basic information as well as academy position statements on attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and learning disabilities.

National Association of School Psychologists
Presents the different programs, objectives, and goals of this group promoting educationally and psychologically healthy environments for all children and youth by implementing research-based, effective programs in the treatment of learning disabilities.

The Acheiver's JourneyThe Acheiver's Journey by Genevieve Dawid
The Achiever's Journey follows the journey of Genevieve Dawid who was born dyslexic and dyspraxic. To overcome her difficulties (based on her parents’ determination and extraordinary philosophy) she developed her own unique ways of coping with dyslexia, got to know herself better, discovered where she wanted to go in life, and devised successful strategies to get there.

Canadian Dyslexia Association
An organization that promotes awareness of dyslexia by developing and implementing specialized methods, improving the quality of life of Canadians who have dyslexia.

British Dyslexia Association
Provides basic information on dyslexia. For families in England, a number of links to different support groups are available.

International Dyslexia Association
This site is maintained by an international, non-profit organization dedicated to the study and treatment of the learning disability and dyslexia. Links to different conferences and basic information are available.

The Dyslexia Institute
A website maintained by a small non-profit organization in the United Kingdom that provides a wealth of basic information about dyslexia, learning disabilities, and useful programs available in Britain.

Teens Helping Teens
A web page designed by dyslexic teens for dyslexic teens. Sponsored by the New York Branch of the International Dyslexia Association this web page was designed by dyslexic teens as a resource and forum for other teenagers with dyslexia.

World Dyslexia Network Foundation
Spearheaded by Ian Smythe, international author and researcher on the subject of dyslexia, this voluntary organization offers additional perspectives on dyslexia.

National Hyperlexia Organization
A non-profit organization dedicated to promoting an understanding of hyperlexia. This website provides information important for parents, teachers, and health care providers.
